Krampus, is a central European popular legend, a half-goat, half-demon monster that punishes misbehaving children at Christmas time. He is the devilish companion of St. Nicholas. Krampus is believed to have originated in Germany, and his name derives from the German word Krampen, which means “claw.” Here he is taking the Scooby-Doo gang to punish them for all their meddling.

Some of the original designs are so iconic that I make little design changes but wanted to create another way to make them more than just a costume that was worn to scare some kids and a dog. This is done by adding to aggressive nature and making the characters more violent as they might appear in a modern version of the cartoon

I am a classically trained painter, that has spent most of my life as a designer and illustrator. This included a number of unknown comic book projects, but I recently fell back in love with painting through doing digital paintings in a life drawing class. This series it taking the roots of my cartoon and comic book love and a more realistic style to create the Scooby Doo Universe with a more mature context to the villains.

This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
