The Headless Specter was the 22nd villain the Scooby-Doo Gang faced. The Headless Specter found his Zombiefied Head and proceeds to infect the Scooby-Doo Gang, Notice the Shaggy and Scooby infected and feasting on the Phony Phantom, also from the same episode. The Mystery Machine can be seen in the background after it slammed into a building. This background was inspired by downtown Chicago which is close to my heart and my home.
This is the 22nd in a series of original Illustrations where I revisit and reimagine the villains of Scooby-Doo in order they appear.
Some of the original designs are so iconic that I make little design changes but wanted to create another way to make them more than just a costume that was worn to scare some kids and a dog. This is done by adding to aggressive nature and making the characters more violent as they might appear in a modern version of the cartoon
This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
